A Woman Gone Mad
The woman I knew,
Was a woman possessed,
By the simple, "I love yous,"
He never expressed.
He slithered inside her,
And claimed as his own.
Slowly securing that,
She was alone.
Chorus
Never to question,
to doubt or to add,
He's planted in her now
A woman gone mad.
A woman gone mad.
She wanted to heal him,
She was certain she could,
No matter the hitting,
She said he was good.
It all just takes time,
I pushed him to this.
He's just doing what's best.
I'm the reason he's pissed.
Chorus
She winced as she moved,
And smiled although sad.
He's planted in her now,
A woman gone mad.
A woman gone mad.
She loved him with her heart,
The demon inside,
Who taunted and teased her,
And laughed when she cried,
She started to weep,
Her reflected tears shun,
As they ran down her cheek,
In the shimmering sun.
At the very last moment,
When she thought she would die,
She suddenly turned,
And let out a big sigh.
She had to decide,
Was she going to stay,
Until a black hearse,
Came to take her away?
Chorus
She gathered her things up
and called for a cab,
He better watch out now,
The woman is mad
