Killer Woman

If you let her love you fully,
You might not live to tell the tale.
For a love as hers plays folly,
Without fail.

She will wring you at the throat.
All your secrets she'll betray.
As she wears you like a coat.
With all your errors on full display.

She's a dead end country road.
She tricks the headlights comin' through.
You might think that you're alone,
But she is watching you.
She's a little seedy bar,
Where all the drinks are served for free,
Don't underestimate how far,
She'd go to cause such misery.

Don't ever let your guard down,
Or she'll swoop in for the kill.
She won't hesitate to drown,
Or mar your will.

If you find yourself face-to-face,
Stand your ground, don't try to run.
You can't give her time or space,
That is unless she's gotta gun.

She's a dead end country road.
She tricks the headlights comin' through.
You might think that you're alone,
But she is watching you.
She's a little seedy bar,
Where all the drinks are served for free,
Don't underestimate how far,
She'd go to cause such misery

She loves with a love that,
pokes and maims.
And a stubborn heart,
that stokes the flame.
